Materials
Making a project comes with lots of options anything is possible, but that can make it hard to maneuver, hence we made a little oversight, easy materials and finish has its own unique properties, do you like shiny or not, hard finish on a softwood, or choose hardwood and oil it, some all wooden closets look great, but require more work and joints, do you like technique or functionality, do you like to do maintenance and care for your project or would you like a one time option
we can help you find the right materials so your project turns out the best for you
STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel is the most environmentally friendly for steel and comes with many other positive attributes
easy to clean, no need for paints and finish the chemicals that otherwise let go and give scratches
50 years down the line we can make the tube look as new with a quick polishing
WOOD
Wood is the oldest building material on the planet, with many beautiful types of hard softwoods, fragrance and beautiful patterns there is a type of wood for every application and personal tastes
over the years wood only get more and more beautiful and you can always sand it, re-oil repaint if needed, or cast in resin for a scratch-resistant surface
METAL
Easier to work with than stainless and strong for frames steel is cool
we need to protect with a 100 percent waterproof coat, as oxidization will deter the material, for outdoor projects it’ll last, but still needs proper maintenance
GALVANIZED STEEL
Low initial cost and Longer life.
Galvanized steel is among the most popular steel types because of its extended durability, having the strength and formability of steel plus the corrosion protection of the zinc-iron coating.
Its very protective, including sharp corners and recesses that couldn’t be protected with other coatings, making it resistant to damage.
WOOD OIL
Oils tend to bring out the character of the wood better, they’re made of natural products, plus they’re very easy to apply and maintain.
WOOD STAIN
Get the rich and long-lasting color of a stain and the durable protection.
Achieve the look you want with different stain tinted.
And they clean up easily with soap and water.
PAINT (WATER BASED/ OIL BASED)
Oil-based paints can achieve a higher sheen level when applied due to the makeup of the paint; however, the sheen does become duller over time. While water-based paints achieve a lower sheen finish, water-based paints can typically maintain this sheen level over a longer period of time.
EPOXY
Epoxy resin offers a variety of possibilities that is unlike any other material. In conjunction with wood, we are able to achieve a wide range of design possibilities: epoxy resin coated with wood as a protective layer, like tabletops, bars, wood finishes, wood in cast molds, epoxy resin river tables, and much more is possible.
If you need a hard surface, we recommend with an epoxy finish.
It is UV Resistant, stain and scratch resistant.
It dries out ultra clear and is very durable. Once dried, it’s food safe and eco-friendly.
LACQUER
Guard your newly stained wood against nicks, scratches and everyday wear with a protective finish.
It offers the most durable protective finish available and gives the wood an amber tone.
FIBREGLASS
Fibreglass is an immensely versatile material due to its lightweight, inherent strength, weather-resistant finish and excellent chemical resistance properties.
In addition, the material’s excellent durability means that very few maintenance resources are required.
The materials can be re-used when they are no longer needed, for instance in cement production.
POWDER COATING
Powder coating is an option to consider if the parts will be exposed to the elements for a prolonged period of time.
It’s a protective layer that offers a resilient coating to materials that need protection from corrosion. Powder coatings can come in a variety of colors, chemical compounds, and thicknesses.
It is a better option than painting, because of the durability of the coating.
